(ABOUT RIPPLE & ROOT)
About Casey Donohoe, LCSW – Breckenridge, Colorado Therapist
My clinical focus is in supporting individuals navigating addiction, trauma, and all the heavy stuff in between. I have a soft spot for the messy, real, beautifully human moments—whether you’re processing pain, making a comeback, or just figuring out what’s next.
I approach therapy with warmth, humor, and the belief that healing doesn’t have to feel clinical or cold. You bring your story—I’ll bring the space (and probably snacks). I’m trained in multiple modalities including EMDR to help support deeper healing for those impacted by distressing life events.
Together, we’ll build a plan that’s uniquely yours—no cookie-cutter stuff here. Whether it’s your first time in therapy or your tenth, I’m here to walk beside you, help you reconnect with your strengths, and cheer you on every step of the way.

Meet Casey Donohoe, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with approximately 8 years of experience providing mental health and addiction-focused care. I am licensed in Colorado and bring a steady, relational presence to my work with clients and clinicians alike.
I have lived in Breckenridge for 16 years and split my time between owning a restaurant, working part time as a social worker at our community hospital and serving as a private practice clinician to our fine Summit residents! In my “free time” I enjoy spending time with my 2 rescue mutts (Piper and Ripple), skiing as many mountains as possible and seeing as much live music as fathomable! As a lifelong learner, I am excited to learn about you!

Why 'Ripple & Root' ?
Ripple & Root Therapy is inspired by the idea that our lives are shaped by ripples — moments, relationships, losses, and changes that move outward and touch everything around us. Some ripples are gentle, others arrive suddenly and with force, altering the landscape of our lives in ways we never expected. Healing is not about stopping the ripples, but about learning how to stay rooted within them.
The name also honors Ripple, my dog, who reminds me daily of the quiet wisdom found in presence, steadiness, and returning to what grounds us. At its heart, Ripple & Root Therapy is about creating space to slow down, reflect, and grow — allowing life to move, while finding strength in what keeps us connected and grounded.
